“I’m standing for families and communities in Newhaven and Bishopstone. Sussex is a wonderful part of the country with strong communities and shared opportunities and challenges. I believe in bringing people together to build a better future for everyone; unity not division, hope not hate.”

Ros Brewer — Lewes & Ringmer

“I’ve lived in this part of East Sussex for 12 years. We can all see its decline since the Tories’ austerity years. We deserve better from our County Council — better planning and delivery of infrastructure, transport networks that link up and safe and secure housing. I know how local government works, so I know it will be hard work. I am committed to delivering better services for our residents in this special part of England so that we can all have pride in East Sussex.”

Chris Purser — Seaford

“I have lived in Seaford for over a decade and I have been an active campaigner, especially on social housing, as a member of SHAC (Social Housing Action Campaign). A secure home, and reliable social care to stay in your home when you are older should be a choice for everyone.”
