More about Paul Hunt
About me:
I’ve lived in Polegate for 11 years, buying my first house here. I’m head of year 8 and chemistry teacher at a local secondary school, I’ve been teaching in Sussex and Brighton for the last 18 years. It’s been a great part of my job to visit Stonecross and Polegate primary schools to show so exciting demonstrations and do dissections with them. Having grown up on a council estate and being the first person in my family to go to university I know the power of a good education for changing lives.
I don’t have much in the way of hobbies at the moment as I have a 1 year old and a 4 year old and they keep me quite busy! I am a keen runner (when I have time) and used to play hockey for Eastbourne hockey club.
I’d love to see the increased building around the Willingdon area be managed better, improving infrastructure as the new houses are built. This should including medical facilities, local transport links and local services like shops and sports and play facilities for children growing up in our wonderful corner of Sussex.
